[5a-A413-3] Atomization for Strontium powder sample using arc heated wind tunnel for isotope analysis

Keywords:isotope analysis, arc-heated wind tunnel

For isotope analysis, analysis method using laser spectroscopy is getting noticed instead of conventional inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method. In this method, hypersonic plasma flow in arc-heated wind tunnel is used because low temperature and pressure condition is desired in order to suppress spectra broadening. In this study, desired feed rate of powder strontium sample for detection of absorption signal including atomization efficiency is calculated for the sake of strontium analysis.
