メタマテリアルを用いた負の屈折率物質は特異な光学特性を持つことからテラヘルツ波の応用の幅を広げることが期待されるが，実用化に向けては大面積が課題となっている．そこで本研究では容易な入手と大面積化を目指して，我々のグループの先行研究より磁気応答を示すことが報告された金網と，作製が可能なワイヤーグリッドを組み合わせる新たな負の屈折率物質を考え，その可能性についてFDTD法による電磁界計算を用いて調べた．
