Recently, silica has become an important filler material for automobile tires. Therefore, it became essential to know the dispersion information of silica in tire production processes. Our research group has reported the possibility of dispersion visualization of carbon black, which is widely used as a filler in rubber products, by terahertz radiation. In this talk, we will present the results of visualization of silica dispersion in rubber products by terahertz technique.
