Aerial imaging (AIRR) by retro-reflection is a technology that can form a real image in the air. The blur of the aerial image formed by AIRR increases in proportion to the floating distance, and blurring of the aerial image becomes serious in the aerial display with a long floating distance as used for signboards. When displaying an aerial image superimposed on the real world, a see-through display in which a landscape is visible at the tip of the aerial image is desirable. In this report, we propose a see-through aerial display method using a retroreflective sheet processed to reduce apparent blur.
