Challenges and Possibilities of Online Engineering Education

In order to cope with the corona disaster, online engineering education has been introduced and implemented nationwide due to external pressure in university education after the 2020 academic year. The initial emergency evacuation phase has been overcome, and we are now at the stage of exploring and examining the realization of engineering education that takes advantage of the merits of online education even after the corona disaster is resolved in the future. In this session, we will introduce practical examples of online engineering education, share information on the challenges and advantages that have emerged through implementation, and discuss the possibilities of new engineering education.
