Accelerator driven system (ADS) adopts liquid lead bismuth eutectic (LBE) for both the spallation target and coolant for the non-critical core. Irradiation effects of steel materials of SS316L on the corrosion in LBE were estimated in this report. After 20 dpa iron-ion irradiation for SS316L steels at 450 deg. C, immersion in LBE bath was conducted at 450 C about 400 hrs under reduction oxygen concentration. Cross sectional EDS analysis of irradiated region shew definitely the outflow of iron, chromium and nickel on the steel surface.
