[2K12] 3D CFD calculation for confirming an effect of structure to suppress gas entrainment from liquid surface of Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor

Since a pool-type reactor vessel of sodium-cooled fast reactor is larger than a loop-type reactor vessel, it is difficult to suppress gas entrainment by installing a dip plate near the liquid surface for the pool-type reactor.
Gas entrainment evaluation result indicated that gas was entrained in pool-type reactor for which has no countermeasure structures. Then, the effectiveness of the countermeasure structure which suppresses the gas entrainment was confirmed by CFD calculation modeling a ring-shaped plate on an inner vessel.
