Auto-correlation function method, a type of reactor noise analysis method, has the advantage of eliminating uncorrelated components without the need to consider dead time effects. The superiority of auto-correlation function method was confirmed by applying auto-correlation function method and the Feynman-α method (variance-to-mean ratio method) to time-series data obtained in KUCA.
