[31] Possibility of Renewal of Playland next to City Park

We explore the issues for the proper renewal of playlands in the future. It was unclear after hearing with the city authorities how the playlands and the city parks are constructed next to each other. Therefore, we conducted eld surveys, literature surveys, and interviews with managers. As a result, it was found that the playlands have roles of gardens for welfare facilities for children. It was also found that the playlands could not be renewed due to the poor nances of the local government. We conclude that the playlands need to be renewed integrally with the surrounding public facilities in order to solve this problem.
