・Chubu International Airport (Centrair)
The Central Japan International Airport is located about 35km from the center of Nagoya City. It is easily accessible by road and railway.
Instructions on how to meet JCOLD at Centrair Airport will be posted on our website or by e-mail closer to the meeting.
・Train
Chubu International Airport and Nagoya use the Nagoya Railroad and the fastest train takes 28 minutes (using μ-SKY). ( https://www.meitetsu.co.jp/eng/ )
・Limousine Bus
From Central Japan International Airport to downtown Nagoya, it takes about 60 minutes by limousine bus (Meitetsu Bus). Please note that you should go directly to downtown and not stop at Nagoya Station. Please check our website for operation information.
・Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) or Narita International Airport
The access from Haneda Airport to Nagoya is to travel from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa Station via the Keikyu Airport Line, and then transfer to the bullet train to Nagoya Station.
The access from Narita Airport to Nagoya is to travel from Narita Airport to Shinagawa Station via the JR Express, and then transfer to the bullet train to Nagoya Station. From Narita, it takes about three hours. From Haneda, it can be shortened by one hour.
・Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) or Kansai International Airport
The access from Itami Airport to Nagoya is to travel from Itami Airport to Shin-Osaka Station via the limousine bus, and then transfer to the bullet train to Nagoya Station.
The access from Kansai International Airport to Nagoya is to travel from Kansai International Airport to Shin-Osaka Station via the JR Express, and then transfer to the bullet train to Nagoya Station.
The total travel time for both access routes is approximately two hours.
Immigration and visa
It is recommended that you check with your local Japanese embassy for correct and up to date
entry requirements to Japan. All non-Japanese passport holders are required to give fingerprints (electronically recorded) and be photographed at passport control.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan advises on its website a list of countries that do not require a visa to enter the country.

The bright, spotless and comfortable city subway system offers convention delegates an efficient, relaxing and reasonable means to travel around Nagoya City.
Hotels, conference facilities, and sightseeing spots are located along the subway lines. In addition, the extensive bus network makes it easy to go around the city.
