Announcing  of JAMS 2024 Annual Meeting

2024 LOC Chair: Katusyoshi Michibatashi (Nagoya University)

The 2024 JAMS Annual Meeting  will be held at the Higashiyama Campus, Nagoya University. Continuing from last year, the meeting will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend the meeting in person but also remotely via the Internet.
Nagoya is located almost in the center of Japan and is conveniently accessible, making it easy to plan your itinerary. The Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus is located near Nagoya University Station on the Meijo Subway Line. The ES General Building, where the conference will be held, is a convenient 5-minute walk from Exit 2 or 3. The Nobel Prize Exhibition Hall is adjacent to the building and can be visited free of charge. There is also a cafe in the building next to the venue, so you can easily stroll around the campus during your free time, from the Toyota Auditorium to the Nagoya University Museum.

We hope that many researchers will engage in discussions with each other during the conference, and that new developments will be generated. Especially for young researchers, contact with, discussion with, and exchange of information with researchers outside their home universities are seeds for new ideas. We hope that young researchers who will support the future of mineral science will gain new developments at the Nagoya meeting. Furthermore, we hope that the meeting will be a place for all participants to meet "old friends" and talk about recent developments.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming all participants to the 2024 JAMS Annual Meeting.

The 2024 Annual Meeting of Japan Association of Mineralogical Sciences (JAMS) will be held at Nagoya University.
