[MP-12] Successful EVT for renal artery occlusion with Excluder stent-graft.
A 71-year-old man underwent endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) with Excluder stent-graft due to infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Aortic cuff was migrated to proximal site during post ballooning, so Excluder stent-graft occluded left renal artery. After left brachial access, 6Fr. Sheath was inserted. Left renal artery was then engaged with a 6Fr. Brite Tip Multipurpose catheter (MPA1). Occluded renal artery was crossed with 0.014 Cruise wire supported by Corsair PV and 4Fr. Judkins right 4.0 catheter. We changed 0.014 Cruise wire to 0.014 Spindle wire to strengthen back up force. The ostium of superior mesenteric artery (SMA) was then dilated with 1.5×20 mm Coyote balloon at 10 atmosphere (atm) and 3.0×20 mm Coyote balloon at 14 atm. We could insert the 6Fr. Brite Tip MPA1 catheter to SMA. Genesis stent 5.0×18 mm was deployed to the SMA ostia at 12 atm. Final angiogram showed good renal artery flow and no residual stenosis. We reported successful endovascular treatment for renal artery occlusion with Excluder stent-graft.
