ステンレス鋼や従来のCoCr合金は高い強度を有するが、生体骨よりヤング率が高い。β型Ti合金はヤング率が低いが、耐摩耗性も低い。本発表は、低ヤング率で優れた耐摩耗性を有するCo-Cr-Al-Si合金を紹介する。
