One of the goals in "Future Earth," decadal international initiative on global environmental changes, is the establishment of transdisciplinarity through collaboration between stakeholders including scientists. The practice should be solution-oriented, and participants will make collaboration with ‘solution’, not ‘subject’, being common goal.

Inbanuma is a closed lake located within Tokyo metropolitan area, Japan, and serve as a water resource of Chiba Prefecture. The water quality, however, keeps the worst one recently. To improve water quality and create sustainable region, Chiba Prefecture founded a council for sound hydrologic cycle in Inbanuma watershed in 2001. The activity have been made by collaborations with many stakeholders in different sectors. This is a good practice of transdisciplinarity.

This is a case study in a local area, however, the experience and knowledge may become common ones by sharing globally. We, future earth scientist, should make a sharing system of knowledge and experience.
