During the 4 Nov 2021 storm event (minimum Dst=-105 nT at 14 UT), the Stable Auroral Red (SAR) arc structure was observed by the all-sky imager at Paratunka, Russia. The SuperDARN Hokkaido Pair of (HOP) radars, consisting of Hokkaido East (HOK) and Hokkaido West (HKW) radars and covering the field of view of the Paratunka all-sky imager, observed SAPS type westward oriented flows in association with the SAR arc. Both the arc and the flow were observed from 8 to 15 UT (evening to premidnight sector), and were located close to each other with equatorward expansion with time. In addition, smaller-scale structures, both in time and in space, seem to be highly correlated as well. These characteristics suggest a strong link between the SAR arc activity and ionospheric convective flows. More details of the comparison results and the discussion of the possible interpretation will be presented.
