[SGD02-03] Gravity changes associated with atmospheric disturbances caused by the volcanic eruption in Tonga on January 15th, 2022, recorded by superconducting gravimeters in Japan

Keywords:Tonga volcano, superconducting gravimeter, atmospheric pressure

Atmospheric Lamb waves propagated around the world after the volcanic eruption in Tonga on January 15th, 2022. Large atmospheric disturbances and associated gravity changes were recorded at superconducting gravimeter stations in Japan. At Matsushiro station, signals of inertial acceleration due to atmospheric loading were clearly detected. Analysis results for other stations will be also reported.
