[AAS05-04] 地球システムモデルMIROC-ES2Lにおける南米の生物地球物理学的プロセスの再現
キーワード:地球システムモデル、陸上植生、雲-植生相互作用
An earth system model (ESM) is a general circulation model (GCM) that incorporates various biological and chemical processes. They are often used to study the impact of the biosphere-atmosphere interactions on future changes in the carbon cycle. They can also simulate the biogeophysical interactions between terrestrial vegetation and the atmosphere, but few studies have focused on this aspect or examined the adequacy of their representations. MIROC-ES2L, an ESM developed based on the MIROC GCM, has a known problem of overestimating the amplitude of ENSO when LAI is dynamically diagnosed in South America. In this study, we compare the differences in the regional climate in South America simulated by MIROC-ES2L between the cases in which the LAI is dynamically diagnosed and where several different scenarios are given.
