[E-11-08] Investigating the morphology, adaptation, and evolution of extinct animals
It has been widely suggested that anomalous forms of extinct animals are reflected in the specific autecology as can be never seen in the modern species. The morphological and functional features are, therefore, clues to understand how they evolved, and why they were extinct. In this presentation, I would like to talk about studies of extinct invertebrates, specifically addressing the hydrodynamic functionality of fossilized material.
