Among the various meteorological disasters, tropical low pressure, including typhoons, was accompanied by complex meteorological disasters such as floods and strong winds, resulting in the largest economic loss. In this regard, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (2021) emphasized that the world "should recognize that typhoons are not a single meteorological phenomenon, but a combination of multiple events at the same time." As the need for a typhoon to approach as a complex meteorological disaster rather than a single meteorological disaster is emphasized, various countries are conducting studies to evaluate the risk of multiple disasters accompanied by typhoons with the keyword "Multi-Hazard". Typhoons affecting the Korean Peninsula were becoming more frequent and stronger. Therefore, it is urgent to introduce a typhoon impact forecast in Korea. However, although the typhoon impact forecast in Korea has been piloted since 2016, it has been gradually progressing such as the start of technology development, grounding, and establishing a promotion plan in writing, it is still insufficient to use it directly from the perspective of actual impact forecasting. Therefore, in addition to the introduction of the decision-making support meteorological information system Typhoon Ready System(TRS), which is the basis of the impact forecast on the Korean Peninsula, I would like to introduce the multi-hazard meteorological disaster risk index based on the impact forecast calculated by the TRS.
