Aerosol and cloud observations from an aircraft (Diamond Air Service King Air) were conducted off the eastern coast of Hokkaido, Japan, during July and August 2022. The observations were conducted to characterize lower-level clouds in this area and marine and anthropogenic aerosols that influence clouds. We found that contribution from sea spray aerosols was less than 10%. We also found that cloud liquid water content was often less than adiavatic value. We will provide an overview of these observations and results.
