[1E07] 不飽和化合物水素化用Ni-Ir合金触媒の開発
Hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds is one of the important reactions in organic synthesis, and the development of effective heterogeneous catalysts is always required. We found that SiO2-supported Ni-Ir alloy was an effective heterogeneous catalyst for hydrogenation of styrene, showing 7-fold higher activity based on the catalyst amount than the counterpart catalysts such as Ni/SiO2 and Ir/SiO2. Moreover, the catalyst was applicable to the hydrogenation of various styrene derivatives and linear olefins, and also showed higher activity for hydrogenation of pyridine.
