[2B16] Ni-supported dealuminated Beta zeolite for ethylene to propylene
Keywords:ETP, zeolite, propylene
Propylene is an important compound in the petrochemical industry. Currently, propylene is mainly produced as a byproduct of ethylene by naphtha cracking. On the other hand, the shift to ethane cracking has been progressing in recent years, and there is concern about a shortage of propylene supply. Therefore, it is necessary to bridge the gap between the increasing demand for propylene and its supply, and the development of catalysts that can obtain propylene highly selectively is desirable. In this study, we focused on 12-membered ring Beta zeolite with relatively large micro-pore size. Ni-supported Beta after dealumination zeolite showed high activity in the direct conversion of ethylene to propylene (ETP).
