Service robots are one of the means to solve the manpower shortage in the food service industry. Introducing service robots may temporarily increase the workload of employees because it changes their familiar work contents and creates new tasks. To introduce robots efficiently considering employee satisfaction (ES), it is required to know employees' awareness of robots. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude of employees when a serving robot is introduced into the food service industry. Interview survey and text mining methods were conducted. It was shown that there was a difference in the consciousness of the employee by the occupation. It was also shown that sufficient hands-on experience and explanation prior to the introduction of robots could change the mindset of employees.
