In recent years, advances in robotics-related technologies have led to the development of educational support robots. Most of the educational support robots are designed to instruct students on subjects ranging from mathe- matics to arts and crafts. On the other hand, there are also robots that encourage elderly people to improve their driving behavior. Previous studies have suggested that teaching by robots using videos of dangerous driving is more effective than teaching by a learning system. The GROW model, which provides step-by-step explanations of situations and behavioral instructions, has been reported to be effective in improving the driving behavior of drivers. However, the effectiveness of a robot equipped with the GROW model has not been verified. This paper examines the effect of a robot that teaches driving behavior based on the GROW model on university students in a dangerous driving video.
