We evaluated electrochemical characteristics of graphene electrodes for fuel cell applications. Monolayer graphene films were grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) on Cu foils. To evaluate the intrinsic electrochemical properties, the graphene films were transferred onto inert SiO2/Si substrates by the thermal release tape technique. Redox peak was clearly observed in the cyclic voltammograms (CVs). It was found from the CVs that the monolayer graphene electrodes exhibited quasi-reversible electron transfer processes.
