Owing to recent advance of medical applications by atmospheric pressure plasma, the precise controls of cell activity such as apoptosis induction and sterilization or growth promoting and tissue regeneration have been realized. However, the detailed mechanism of the dynamic changes by plasma is not well understood. The authors have quantitatively analyzed the reactive interaction of plasma active species with the biological interface at the molecular level. In the present work, we verified the transport properties of oxygen active species in the cell membrane by classical molecular dynamics.
