[13p-P1-4] Frequency dependency of atomization using SAW device

In this paper, we experimentally discussed the frequency dependency of the atomization using surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. The mist diameter decreased with increasing the frequency. The results agreed with the Lang’s equation. Also, we experimentally discussed the relationship between the frequency and quantity of mist, and the influence of the applied electrical signal to the SAW device, such as power and duty ratio.
