[14a-B5-6] Development of Kelvin probe equipment for liquid sample

Hiroaki Uchiyama1, Yuya Tanaka1,2, Hisao Ishii1,2,3 (1.AIS Chiba Univ., 2.CFS Chiba Univ., 3.MCRC Chiba Univ.)

Keywords:Kelvin probe, work function, wet device

In order to improve the performance of wet devices such as dye-sensitized solar cells, work function of electrode is an important parameter. There is, however, limited number of study to investigate the work function of liquid system. Especially, the work function of electrode in liquid environment has not been investigated deeply. In this study, we have developed an new apparatus in which both Kelvin probe method and electric measurements are available. The details of the apparatus will be reported with the results of performance test.
