[14p-P22-3] Influence of lattice distortion on transport properties in bulk and nanostrcutured Bi

In this study, we investigate the influence of lattice distortion on transport properties in bulk Bi and nanostructured Bi. The band structure was analyzed by utilizing tight-binding model, and calculated transport properties. The compression along the c-axis or the change in internal displacement parameter leads the increases in the band overlap and in the carrier density. We will discuss the transport properties against the lattice distortion.
