The ray-wave correspondence in two-dimensional optical cavities is an interesting research topic from a viewpoint of fundamental physics. We are studying resonator modes in a two-dimensional optical cavity which is called Penrose unilluminable room. It always has unilluminated regions, regardless of the position of a point light source in it. We have already shown that the cavity has three kinds of chaotic ray trajectories confined in different regions. In this work we obtained wave chaotic modes corresponding to the chaotic ray trajectories using the finite-difference time-domain method.
