[16p-P2-3] Current Characteristic by Flame in the Concentric Cylindrical Electrode

Isao Tsukabayashi1,2, Sugiya Sato2, Kunihiko Hattori2 (1.Iroha Sci. Atelier, 2.Nippon Inst. of Tech.)

Keywords:flame discharge, ion impact, thermal electron current

When an electric field is applied on a flame in the cylindrical electrode, the discharge current increases with the electric field. The cathode is heated by ion impact by positive ion during a flame first, then thermal electrons are generatied with heating of the cathode, and increases the discharge current.
