We focus on prevention of fungal diseases of agricultural products by plasma disinfection to improve safety and security as an alternative method of agrichemicals. Plasma sterilization and disinfection technics using plasma reaction have developed especially in medical field, and phenomena of plasma treatment to biological object have become one of the major topics for novel practical applications in life science. In this study, plasma disinfection to inactivate green mold spore on citrus fruit by APDBD, atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge, was investigated as practical usage for agricultural applications of plasma technologies.
