The optical feedback system that consists of a video projector and a camera enables appearance manipulation, which manipulates apparent color, and brightness, etc., with adaptive radiometric compensation and it affects our material perception. In this talk, I will explain appearance manipulation technique using projector camera feedback, and its various applications that include installation art.
