[6p-PB5-1] Imaging Mass Spectrometry of a Whole-body Section of a Zebrafish that Feeds Gold Nanoparticles
Keywords:mass spectrometry, bio-distribution
To investigate bio-distribution of gold nanoparticles in a living body, a highly sensitive and selective analytical method is needed. Gold nanoparticles can be used as a mass probe that efficiently desorbs gold ions. In this work, bio-distribution of gold nanorods that were fed in a zebrafish was investigated by using a conventional MALDI-Mass machine. Small amount of gold nanorods were absorbed from the intestine, and transferred in the blood flow.
