A fused silica capillary was fixed on the GaAs substrate as a terahertz wave source without removing polyimide coating of the capillary and THz-TDS measurements were achieved in the transmission configuration. Most of terahertz waves emitted pass through the capillary and liquid in the hollow of the capillary could be detected.
