旋光現象を用いた演示の有用性向上の目的で，著者らは砂糖（スクロース）溶液を用いた演示実験における透過光強度変化の予測や白色光透過色変化の再現などを行ってきた．その確認実験の際に溶液の温度管理が容易ではないため，これまでの旋光度の予測では溶液温度の影響の可能性は考慮に入れていなかった．今回は，再現される透過色に溶液温度の影響が生じ得るかについて，検討を行った．
