[18p-PA3-4] Non-contact trapping and transport of small object using aerial ultrasound
generated through simultaneous excitation of parallel vibrating plates.

Non-contact manipulation technology of micro parts and drugs is highly required. To this end, we have focused on ultrasonic levitation and carried out several experiments. In this study, we proposed a method using aerial ultrasound generated through simultaneous excitation of parallel vibrating plates with spatial and temporal phase shifts. We have successfully achieved non-contact transport of polystyrene spheres at a distance of 40~50 mm using the proposed method.
