Achieving transdermal drug delivery with painless needles, which we are developing, will greatly affect the quality of life of all patients. There are various advantages, such as relief from pain and fear in injections, change of administration route from oral to transdermal to patients with decreased swallowing function, and easy administration from third parties in terms of medication management. We introduce the present conditions and future plans of our company commercialization that has promoted optical vortex laser processing, which is the achievement of Chiba University Omatsu laboratory, as a basic technology.
