▲ [12a-PA2-5] Dynamical multielectron correlation in high harmonic generation
キーワード:high harmonic generation, electron correlation
Strong-field light-matter interaction has various applications. One prominent example is high harmonic generation (HHG), which serves not only as the standard tool for the generation of ultrashort laser pulses, but also as a promising way for the direct measurement and control of electron dynamics in atoms and molecules. Although the HHG process can be adequately treated as a one-electron problem in many cases, it fails when electron correlation plays a role, which is far from fully explored yet and is now attracting increasing interests. In this contribution, utilizing the recently developed time-dependent complete-active-space self-consistent-field (TD-CASSCF) method in its full dimensionality, we obtain fully converged HHG spectra from alkali atoms induced by an intense infrared (IR) laser pulse. A clear manifestation of dynamical electron correlation is observed in the HHG spectra.
