[10p-Z18-4] Observation of exceptional point degeneracy with electrically pumped photonic crystal lasers

We previously demonstrated the parity-time phase transition and loss-induced suppression and revival of lasing with a device of two electrically pumped photonic crystal lasers. Here, we report the observation of exceptional-point degeneracy of its spontaneous emission, accompanied with the clear spectral coalescence of the coupled modes and the squared Lorentzian radiation spectrum indicating the enhancement of photonic local density of states.
