▼ [10p-S302-16] Spin rectification signal induced by the unidirectional spin Hall magnetoresistance
キーワード:spin orbit torque, magnetization switching, unidirectional spin Hall magnetoresistance
Spin torque ferromagnetic resonance (ST-FMR) has widely been used for evaluation of the spin Hall angle (SHA). ST-FMR spectrum is composed of Lorentzian and anti-Lorentzian functions. Taking the ratio between the magnitudes of these two functions, SHA can be estimated. In our study, we found the existence of the other kind of signal related to the SHA in the ST-FMR spectrum. In addition to the conventional Lorentzian functions, magnetization-dependent background (BG) signals were also obtained. We found the BG signal was generated by the spin-dependent unidirectional spin Hall magnetoresistance, the origin of which is the spin-dependent electron mobility in the ferromagnetic material. We successfully estimated the SHA utilizing the value of the BG signal. Therefore, this experiment provides an effective cross check of the values of the SHA, which are obtained from two different physical origins by using only one ST-FMR spectrum.
