We introduce a new-type vortex Airy beam with both orbital angular momentum and non-diffraction. The numerical calculation results show the propagation characteristics of the new-type perfect vortex Airy beam are tremendously improved compared with those of conventional one. In the presentation, we will show experimental results for the propagation dynamics of a new-type vortex Airy beam.
