[17p-Z02-5] Electrical and Optical Properties in GST Phase Change Materials: On the Matters of Debate

GST phase change materials show significant changes of the electrical and optical properties between amorphous and crystalline states. We know that the optical reflectance depends on optical dielectric constants and the electrical conductivity depends highly on the type of transport (either nonmetallic or metallic). Current understanding on these issues are still a matter of debate. We should therefore make clear these points through the present meeting.
