[20a-A101-11] Transmission via 90-degree Sharp Bends in Square-lattice Photonic-Crystal Waveguides with Glide Symmetry

In periodically modified waveguides, glide-symmetry guarantees band degeneracy at the Brillouin zone edge. Here, we demonstrate that in glide-symmetric square-lattice photonic-crystal waveguides, such degeneracy also marks the division between high and low transmission via 90-degree sharp bends.
