[20p-A304-9] Preparation and dielectric properties of KNbO3/BaTiO3 core-shell ceramics with reduced temperature dependence by solvothermal solidification method
Keywords:dielectric, ferroelectric, solvothermal method
Lead zirconate titanate (Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, PZT) exhibits high dielectric and piezoelectric properties at the morphotropic phase boundary (:MPB), and PZT ceramics with MPB composition introduce a structure-graded region (:SGR) where the spontaneous polarization direction changes continuously at the interface between the tetragonal and rhombohedral phases. In the SGR, the polarization is easily rotated by the application of an electric field, and large dielectric and piezoelectric responses are induced. In this study, KNbO3/BaTiO3 ceramics with high-density SGRs introduced by using BaTiO3 with a particle size of 100 nm were prepared and their electrical properties were evaluated.
