[21p-A401-3] Highly sensitive detection with biohybrid sensors
Keywords:Microfluidics, Biohybrid
Although unprecedented devices and systems have been created one after another with the evolution of manufacturing, it remains difficult to artificially realize biological functions such as molecular recognition, material production, and self-organization. In this talk, I would like to discuss bio-hybrid devices that combine the excellent functions and structures of both organisms and machines, based on the idea that functional elements that are difficult to realize artificially can be solved by directly using biomaterials such as biomolecules and cells. In particular, I will take as an example the research on bio-hybrid (BH) sensors that detect molecular and tissue reactions specific to living organisms with high sensitivity and specificity.
