Measurement data obtained from the single-molecule identification method using tunneling currents, which is the principle of the fifth-generation sequencer, were analysed by a quantum computer. The electrical conductivity of a single molecule electronically bonded to electrodes is described by a quantum gate with entangled conduction pathways. The measured data of four base molecules were analyzed by the quantum computer, resulting in successful single molecule identification.
