[22a-C301-7] Preparation of gel-like agglomerates of CaO particles using laser ablation in alcohols
Keywords:laser ablation, nanoparticles, colloids
To investigate the formation mechanism of gel-like aggregates generated by laser ablation for CaO powder in alcohols, change in the production time of gel-like aggregates by 1-propanol is investigated. Although the production time was decreased until the 1-propanol / ethanol mixing ratio was 20%, it was increased when it was larger than 30%. This finding suggests that the fragmentation of particles is necessary for the formation of gel-like aggregates in addition to the neutralization of the particle charge.
