▲ [22a-P04-2] Decomposition experiments of toluene in humidified air using intermittent pulse barrier discharge
キーワード:dielectric barrier discharge, air purification, toluene
Air purification devices featured with DBD plasma were developed for processing VOCs emitted from industrial sectors. In the previous work, a 50 Hz sinusoidal wave power supply was used to test their decomposition performance in toluene-mixed humidified air at 50 L/min. As a result, a decomposition rate of about 60% at 22 kV was attained. Moreover, in order to accomplish higher performance and gain an understanding of the decomposition effect with intermittent pulse voltage, decomposition experiments with intermittent pulse-driven barrier plasma by the frequency at a range of 1 ~ 10 kHz, and duty cycle of 10 ~ 100 % were conducted.
