Spin-orbit torques (SOTs) generated from ferromagnetic materials have attracted much attention because of the capability of field-free magnetization switching for perpendicularly magnetized thin films. In this study, we demonstrated a field-free magnetization switching for a perpendicularly magnetized CoFeB using in-plane magnetized Cobalt-based Heusler alloy Co2MnAl (CMA) as a spin source which is theoretically predicted to be a magnetic Weyl semimetal. Moreover, the polarity of switching was reversed depending on the direction of the magnetization of CMA, suggesting that the possible origin of the SOTs is spin-orbit precession.
